The Bridge End Inn Ruabon is a traditional real ale pub, situated in the village of Ruabon near the border of Wrexham and Shropshire. Hosts Matthew, Gill & Peter McGivern offer a warm welcome to all and Matt is usually found behind the bar serving ales from the McGivern micro brewery - also on-site.
Matt brews a range of beers in both cask and bottle conditioned form. Overall, Matthew brews around 10 firkins which equates to around 90 gallons six times a year.
We also have a delightful beer garden which acts as a real sun trap in the summer months with plentiful outdoor seating.
The Bridge End Inn is also a firm favourite for real ale lovers from across North & Mid Wales and other parts of the UK! We're situated next door to Ruabon Station on the Chester - Shrewsbury line and attract visitors from the West Midlands, Merseyside and all parts of the UK, many attracted by our awards.
We're also a stones throw away from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct & Canal World Heritage Site, the National Trust properties at Chirk Castle and Erddig and the Clywdian Range & Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - so be sure to put us on your 'to do' list when you're next staying in the area.
